Doctor Strange - Marvel

One of the most exciting projects Pianoz.com has been involved with was supplying many pianos for Marvel Studios' blockbuster film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness over a two year period. Working alongside the production team, we provided a selection of instruments used during filming, helping to bring to life one of the most visually ambitious and creatively daring entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Seeing our pianos featured in a major Hollywood production was a proud moment and a reminder of the diverse range of projects our instruments find themselves involved in.

The highlight for piano enthusiasts was undoubtedly the film's now-iconic musical battle between Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange and his alternate-universe counterpart. Rather than relying on traditional weapons, the sequence transformed fragments of classical music into magical projectiles in a spectacular clash unlike anything previously seen on screen. The scene quickly became one of the most talked-about moments in the entire film, earning praise from audiences for its originality and its celebration of music as a powerful storytelling device. For those of us in the piano world, it was particularly satisfying to see keyboards and musical notation take centre stage in such a memorable cinematic moment.
